Message	car on the opening side, is the latch held up to the body by 2 bolts.. jacking up the car with the door closed will cause the latch to move and will mess up the door alignment with the body, especially if you are using a jack on one side or the other to do so... How else is the door going to keep the car from flexing ? with the glass pressed against the T-tops !? I don't think so, that's the only other point I can think of where the door is firmly pressed against the car, the rest is lightely seperated with the weaher strip.
